A3025
A3025 is a large-scale projected piece involving a 3D scan of an Alcatel flip phone, as well as audio-visual elements captured with the phone itself. This work turns a wall space into a phone through mapping visuals that represent one onto it. In this piece, it is meant for this object to be elevated, to become something grand.
This piece was made as a response to a new fragment of my life. Although I became interested in older phones, I decided to work with the flip phone I purchased for myself a few months ago. This purchase has led me to notice, learn and question more about smartphone consumption and overall phone culture.
