interrupted

This dynamic video installation resulted from my very first experiment with digitalizing physical drawings. It is a mixed-media work, as it dances between fim, installation and painting.

This is a video in which colour, composition, light and shadow were meticulously thought out, as well as the relationship between sound and vision, which is dealt with in a musical fashion. There is an optical illusory aspect to the video as the changes speed up, which is counterbalanced with slower sections on the verge of stasis.

The connection between the projection and the viewer is seen with intimacy yet distance, as it is reflected all over the viewer, though they can never physically touch one another.
